Now, Hellboy is probably the GREATEST comic out there. He - and the BPRD - are some of the only heroes who aren't in Spandex suits. can you imagine it? Sure, Abe's got the shorts, but he looks NICE in the shorts . . . *spaces off . . .*
I'd almost resent being called an Abe Sapien Fangirl, but I'm cool with it.
Okay, Shazza, you ain't missed much in the series - Only The Crooked Man and The Wild Hunt.
*SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!* *DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!*
Okay, in the Crooked Man, Hellboy's looking for a witch. Some crazy crap goes down, but it's all cool by the end.
In The Wild Hunt (eight issues - HUGE story!), Hellboy's invited to hunt some giants, witnesses the burial of Dagda, king of the little people, and finds out from Morgan le Fay that he's the first male descendant of King Arthur, and is the rightful King Of England. Cool, eh? And he has to stop the queen of blood from waging war on the human race.
The Storm, the next part of the series, is supposed to come out sometime in the new year.
So, that's all I got on that.

Well, all I can say, is that Abe in the comics is way BETTER than Abe from the movies.
AND NO, HE DOES NOT SLEEP IN A TANK, AND LIZ AND HELLBOY ARE NOT HAPPILY IN LOVE EXPECTING A BATCH OF LOVE CHILDREN! THE MOVIE IS *!!WRONG!!*.
Actually, Mr. Mignola has shed a little light in Hellboy's love life: For a while, he was traveling with a woman named Anastasia Bransfield. Check The Companion - it's there.
