Last night, we had to go to Baker's to get my brother's seizure medication, and mom took me with her. And let me tell you, nothing is creepier than going to a store where half the shelves are empty after reading Under The Dome.
It freaked me out . . . . . . BIG time.
Well, i asked mom if she would let me buy an iTunes card, if I used my own money and everything, and she says no. Uh, what part of 'MY MONEY' did she not hear?
I always think that I go pretty easy on my parents. Growing up, I got a job at the age of eleven so I could buy books without asking my mom/dad for money. Over the summer, I got a BETTER job so I could buy BIGGER things without asking for their help. So now if I have extra money, I think I have the right to spend it.
Well, mom had said something about a yarn store today, since travel wasn't that bad, but now she's nixed the idea. Crap. I wanted to buy the black yarn to make that jacket. Now I'm just stuck with fuchsia.
The actual shade is a bit lighter than this one, but it's close. And I feel that black would just make this coat better.
Blue was a nice color, but after seeing that preppy blonde chick wear it in blue, I had to tweak it. I'm also gonna make the sleeves longer, the entire thing a little longer, and try to omit the fitted look of it. Baggy is more my style.
I have three things to do today.
1. Check out Avenged Sevenfold, as per Shazza's request.
2. finish Under The Dome - i'm on page 888, and I'm close to the end.
3. Work on my fanfic. I have wonderful ideas for the next few chapters, and (puts on an accent) I'm so excited!.
Well, friends, until the moon blesses us with its light once more, i bid thee all farewell.
