So, yesterday, I went to Kira's around five o'clock. We go to burger King:

and get some num yums, and go back and watch Repo! The Genetic opera, cause I just found a copy at Suncoast. Kira relents and says that yes, indeed, it was a good movie. So we go back into her living room (it's 8 at night) and we watch Mythbusters:
and we're pissed because they got rid of Kari and brought on some blonde chick who's not NEARLY half as funny as she was. We were planning on staying up late and watching Sleepy Hollow:
which came on at eleven. But then Scoffy decided to grace us with her pressence, so we talked and stuff and missed the first half-hour of Sleepy Hollow, so we just watched Repo! again. Well, t=it was twenty minutes from the end at about one AM and everyone was asleep so I decided to turn the movie and the TV off and Scoffy's like, "I was still watching it." And I'm like, "Dude, you were asleep." but she wasn't so we stayed up for a bit and talked.
We talked about ghosts and fears and we scared ourselves bad enough that we had to turn on a light and the TV. And Scoffy turned on On Demand and we were gonna rent "Paranormal Activity":
and I'm like, "dude, ask Kira, it's her house."
SCOFFY: She's asleep.
ME:. Shake her foot.
SCOFFY: *shakes Kira's foot* Kira?
KIRA: *half-asleep* whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?
SCOFFY: can we rent a movie?
KIRA: *going back to sleep* Nooooooooooooooooooooo.
SCOFFY: She said no.
ME: Got any money? Ask her if we throw change at her if maybe we can rent the movie.
SCOFFY: How much do YOU have?
ME: *reaches into pocket and pulls out two ones* Hold on . . . *reaches again and pulls out a quarter* Wait . . . *reaches one more time and pulls out a handful of change*
SCOFFY: *counts money* We're four cents short of three dollars.
ME: Ask her.
SCOFFY: *shakes Kira's foot again* Hey, Kira? If we throw change at you, will you let us rent the movie?
KIRA: Noooooooooooooooooooooooo.
SCOFFY: *throws money at Kira* Pleease?
KIRA: *looks at TV* You guys want to watch Paranormal Activity?
SCOFFY AND ME: yeah.
KIRA: Press play.
So we sat all on one couch and watched it. I have to say, the only thing that got me was the end. But throughout the movie, we just kinda made fun of the so-called ghost/demon/thang. Like, there's this scene where the ghost goes up the stairs and into their room and then runs out, slamming the door, then it bangs on the door, it gets opened by the guy, and they run out and the door slams shut and then there's banging and someone opens the door again. This is our dialogue:
"Oh, do dee do dee do . . . hey, guys, nice room. OH SHIT YOU'RE AWAKE! *runaway* Hey, guys? can I come back in? I left my shoes in there. Guys? Open the door! OPEN THE DOOR!" Jeez, took ya long enough. Do dee do dee do . . . hey, let's check to see if my shoes are behind the door. Nope . . . oh, shit. Guys? I locked myself in. Can you open the door? Please? OPEN THE DOOR! Jeez, guys, BE that way!"
so we watched that. the only scary part was the end and we all screamed and I covered my eyes. Afterwords, we turned all the lights on and Scoffy kept freaking out over the ending so we watched the movie again on mute.
I will not say what I saw there. I'm still freaking out over it.
So then we watched cartoons and fell asleep. That was about four-ish in the morning, and I was up at about nine.
So that was my day. I really do feel like shit now, so I'm going to go lay down.
